This week it is(was) pretty full on, First we moved into our new class, then we went to Phitia station, When we got back we had a sand castle competition, then movie & pj day! We watched The Sleepover.
Moving into our new class room was hard work & competitive, First we took the art down, then we moved the furniture then arranged every thing it was very hard. But, it was a success. Here is a photo of the new class room.....
Next week is going to be the best! It is going to be a bit full-on but first I am going to tell you about our experience making ice cream sundaes.
So we were learning about lists and what to include in them. Then we went to the staffroom and got out the ingredients. Nina forgot to add a spoon into hers so she had to eat the sundae with her fingers.
Next week on monday we are moving to the hall because we are having a new classroom built. Then on tuesday we are going up to tristins farm, then on wednesday it will be movie & PJ day.
Everyday next week we are going to have a kahoot based on our book that we finished it will also be on because it is te reo maori week.
Our teacher is leaving today so we have a new teacher called matua Beau he is in today.We are having a shared lunch everyone is bringing a dish of food. Speaking of food tonight I'm going to dinner with my auntie and were having a yum big pie! Everyone is giving food,flowers,clothes and much more to koka Terri. I gave her one pair of cute shoes and a little flower dress.
This week we have been doing our quick-write on reading. I love reading it is one of my favourite things to do but when I read the facts it said:20% of english children can't read at the age 11! I could read since I was 3!
Books are full of exiting adventures! The one I am reading at the moment is called Curse of the Dream Witch. I have also enjoyed Sinking, demon dentist & Geronimo.
Quick- Wright
One of our priorities is a quick-wright. It is my favourite one, but at the moment I have been writing so much I have no time for other priorities! That is why it is only 7:24!
This week our task is to write about if kids should have mobile phones at the age of 2 and up! You have a different task each week. The aim is to get 50 or more words. Most kids in my class only write about 40-45 words but I am writing up in the hundes!
My highest score was 180 and my lowest score was 50.
We have to recraft our work which means edit. I will have to edit this work too. I go onto the quickwrite so I can write the questions down, There are four questions and

I have had a fun week, and it is getting very exciting. I have a lot to tell you so I’m going to explain slowly…
In October my family are going to Auckland to see Benee, a famous singer perform.
She is my favourite singer, because her chords, voice and songs are awesome. For WBS has got talent I’m doing a video of me and my friend playing Glitter, one of my favourite Benee songs. :) I am going with my cousins in Auckland. Then, in November they are coming to stay with us!
In our class we have this thing called priorities which we check off, one of our priorities is Ninja maths but my teacher has found a new maths program called Math Whizz. It is like a video game but you have to do maths to get your avatar and a tree house or space department. It comes with ect but I’m not going into detail.
It will be my Birthday in 8 days! I’m turning 10! I’m going to have a birthday party with my family. Because my birthday party is basically in October( you know the Benee concert :)
